Meet ZeroJet, fundraises from AEV & Mosaic and 200+ open startup jobs
In this month’s dispatch, we’ve got the story of our latest investment in ZeroJet, plus updates from across the portfolio and Investible team.
Our continued commitment to identifying early-stage innovators across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia has taken us across the entire region so far this year. We are reminded daily that founders who break the mould can come from anywhere, and that innovation is truly borderless.
Both the Investible Climate Tech Fund and Early-Stage Fund 2 are actively investing in startups, from pre-seed. If you’re building something incredible, we’d love to chat. Get in touch here.
PS - We’re hiring a People and Culture Manager. If you’re ready to level up your career and impact one of APAC’s most ambitious VCs, get in touch!
Welcome to the portfolio, ZeroJet!
Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, the ambitious maritime innovator ZeroJet enables a critical step change in the electrification of the boating and shipping industry with the development of a custom jet propulsion system.
Under the leadership of co-founders Bex Rempel and Neil Mans, the startup has developed an environmentally friendly and quiet propulsion system: more efficient, more practical and more fun than traditional propeller-based units.
The Investible Climate Tech Fund participated in ZeroJet’s Series A round alongside a strong and specialised group of investors including Movac and the NZX-listed Booster Innovation Fund.
