Rick is the co-founder of Blackbird Ventures, a new venture capital firm built around a group of Australia's most successful tech founders, combined with close ties to Silicon Valley. Previously he was responsible for MLC’s venture capital portfolio with investments of over half a billion dollars. Prior to that, he co-founded two successful software companies: IDC Global and Right Party Connect.
Daniel is an Investor and Partner at Airtree Ventures and has over 30 years of technology experience and has founded 3 successful Venture Capital firms in this time. He’s held roles such as the local MD for Microsoft, Vice President on the Redmond campus and Director of Asia-Pacific.

Amanda is an Investor at Impact Investment Group and has over 16 years’ experience spanning both the corporate and non-profit sectors—in private equity, investment banking, non-profit management and strategic planning. Prior to launching IIG in Sydney, Amanda was Head of Planning at JCA, a non-profit organisation responsible for supporting the NSW Jewish community through fundraising and planning on behalf of 22 member organisations.
Lance is a serial entrepreneur, consumer goods specialist and passionate start-up advisor and Cofounder of Yes to Carrots, Yoobi, French Toast Products. He’s also the Co-founder with Ido Leffler of global skincare success story Yes To Inc and the authors of “Get Big Fast and Do More Good,” a guide to modern entrepreneurship and accelerated brand-building.

Yes. There will be small breaks and opportunities to network throughout the day, as well as a longer period at the end of the event. Your 1-1 feedback with the investors is your opportunity to ask any questions about your business, and often times, if you catch their attention, investors will ask you about your business themselves.
